Day Visitors
There is ample parking in the Pay and Display area. The cost varies from 80p per hour to £4 per day depending on the time of year. The parking is right beside the beach which is safe for children. Come and enjoy a family day out.
There is a large grass picnic area and a refreshment kiosk selling ice cream and soft drinks, cold snacks and sweets. The kiosk also sells a selection of beach balls, rings, kites, windbreaks, lilos, games etc.
There is a putting green beside the beach and an 18 hole golf course nearby.
A coastal path extends beyond both ends of the beach giving excellent walks. If you head inland less than half a mile you can see steam trains puff past on the West Somerset Steam Railway.
Anglers can fish from the beach for free or go out on one of the local boats.
Dogs are welcome on selected parts of the beach, but we are commited to keeping the beach clean for children so please clean up after your dog. Bins are provided. The penalty for fouling is £60.
Dogs must be kept on a lead on the main site.
