If coming via the M5 leave at exit 24 and take the A39 to Bridgewater. If coming from the South leave Taunton via the A358.

Both roads converge at Williton, passing through Carhampton. Go straight across the traffic lights at Dunster, ignoring the left hand turn to Dunster Village and Castle, and proceed 500 yards towards Minehead then turn right to Dunster Beach and the Marsh Street area. Turn left at the first T junction; pass over the small bridge and turn immediately right into Sea Lane (signed to Dunster Beach) and then follow the road to the white gates at the end.

This takes you to the parking for day visitors.

For visitors staying in chalets, turn left through the gates and pass through the second gate to get to the private beach and chalets.
